Tomorrow will be my first official day back to work at CRF. Hoping and praying that everything will be good. Lots have changed since I was last working there. But I will be fine. HEHE. May be meeting Edgar for lunch cause I think he's working too! Yayyyy :D

AND CAN I JUST SAY THAT I CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO HONGKONG?!

All the food, the shopping, the scenery and not forgetting the awesome people that I will be travelling with! Thank God for friends like them. ;)

I know I haven't been updating this space regularly, my bad.

Meet Kelsey, my loving and dependable mannequin. I spent almost a month looking at her every single day and poking her with all my pins and needles and never heard her scream or complain. So faithful... ;)

Quick update, all has been well. My first year in Lasalle has finally ended (like maybe 1 month ago? HAHA). Specialism project (i.e. end-of-year project) was quite a joy and an enjoyable time, bearing in mind, it was also torturous and hard-going! Manage to explore, and design my garment from scratch. Although the restrictions set by the school was rather annoying at first, I was able to sort it out all thanks to my lovely classmates who always lend a helping hand whenever I am confused and helpless! Not forgetting dedicated teachers who explained and advised me countless times. I was also very privileged and thankful to be able to work with some of my friends Jacq (who was the model) and Gwen (who helped with the photography) in a photo shoot for the garment. In addition, I have to thank my amazing boyfriend for tolerating my nonsense during the project and helping me in every way that he can. <3

I admit, the location for the photo shoot was the worst part of the whole project. Thank God, we just went by faith and found some interesting spots that was fitting to my theme.

The chosen theme for my garment was 'Egyptian Exaggeration'. The dress was made of unwanted ties from my dad and Rachy's dad. The skirt was made using nylon rope which I sprayed gold and black. My garment was also featured on http://www.voyage.lamodeoutre.com which made me a very happy girl, because it was sort of an affirmation for me from the public.

Oh, and also notice the gorgeous gold wedges? I have my dearest Candy to thank for that. <3

Thank you so much to all who have helped me along the way. I really appreciate it. This one year wasn't easy, but it was all worth it. ;) Looking forward to my 2nd year, although I'm still kinda in a hibernating mode for now. HEHE. :D

Just recently finished watching 下一站，幸福/Autumn Concerto, a taiwanese drama series. I was so hooked to it, I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms, listening to the dramasoundtrack since this morning.

Anyway, the little boy in the show is really adorable! And to add on, Vanness Wu is extremely charming and Ady An has such beautiful eyes that will pierce through your soul.

School has been suffocating me, hence the lack of updates. Piles of work to be done, and when I say piles, I really meant it. Trying to cope with everything with the best of my ability. But sometimes I still fall and screw things up. Who doesn't, right? Thank God for his grace, that is always more than enough. If not I don't think I would have been able to pull through these 4 weeks.

And of course, not forgetting my darlings, these people make my school life so much more bearable. They make me feel like I'm not alone in this.

Finally met Rachel! And we had loads of fun! Taking random pictures at random times and doing an impromptu mini photo shoot in the middle of nowhere! (Lucky us, we found a really amazing quiet spot.) You don't have to spend money to be happy! (: Having said that, we still got ourselves a few rings nevertheless. HEHE.

New year, New Resolution

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2010 passed in a blink of an eye. A year with lots of transitions. Worked for a year at CRF and made some amazing friends there. Travelled overseas to Bangkok with a crazy bunch; totally enjoyed myself. Started schooling at Lasalle, almost like a dream come true after 2 years of wandering. Moved to a new place and neighbourhood. Amazing boyfriend to love and share with. Gained some, but lost some. All in all, a great year. I couldn't ask for more.

2011 will be an even better year. They say the best is yet to be. I look forward to greater breakthroughs, greater challenges and greater triumphs. Time to set some goals for the year!
